Shakespearean puzzles collected and solved by the Folgers [manuscript], 1925.

Two printed puzzles, with solutions apparently completed by the Folgers. (1a) and (1b) consist of 2 copies of Willard Parker's Shakespearean crossword puzzle (1 blank and 1 solved). Also, an autograph letter initialed from Parker to Henry Folger, asking if he had succeeded in solving the crossword and an envelope with notes about the puzzle, initialled HECJ (presumably an amalgamation of Henry Clay and Emily C.J. Folger's initials). (2a) consists of a leaf from The New York herald tribune, Sunday March 15, 1925 which includes a "Shakespearean enigma" and (2b) is a separate leaf with the solution, a quotation from Julius Caesar, act 2, scene 2 ("Cowards die many times before their deaths; The valiant never taste of death but once").
